Gill Lang
Since leaving private practice and going in-house in 1994, Gill has specialised exclusively in the development, financing, production, distribution and exploitation of Drama & Comedy television programming.
She has worked for one of the UK’s leading TV agencies (The Agency), for the UK’s largest commercial production house (Granada Television Productions) and for the UK’s biggest commercial broadcaster (ITV). As a result, she has a unique insight into and understanding of the deal making techniques employed by the UK’s top talent agencies, producers and broadcasters.
Prior to joining Industry Media, Gill was Head of Business Affairs for Drama & Comedy at ITV Network – a role which brought her into contact with many of the UK’s most successful independent production companies.
She trained and qualified as a corporate finance lawyer at Herbert Smith LLP and is a graduate of Manchester University where she read Law.
